"During the summer of 2020, our sauna at Adventurous Christians, which is located outside of Grand Marais was destroyed by a fire. As a rustic wilderness camp, the sauna is the only bathing option for our staff and campers. It was crucial we replace it as soon as possible with a temporary option while working with Cook County on the rebuilding process. Enter Custom Mobile Saunas. Eric was great to work with as he heard our situation and immediately began to help brainstorm solutions. Due to our camper capacity, our need for size was outside of the normal saunas Eric builds. Through his connections we were able to purchase an 18' equipment trailer for the base. Eric and I then custom designed the sauna to maximize space and provide safety for our campers. The final result is a 20x8.5" sauna that is serving our campers while we rebuild.
